Composite hose assemblies are unique and can solve many problems. These hoses are flexible, durable, naturally static grounded and can handle liquids such as oil, chemicals and water. Composite hose is manufactured with a unique process of wrapping layers of chemical and oil resistant plastic sheeting repeatedly over an internal helical wire. Layer upon layer is added and finally wrapped with an external wire protecting and giving the hose its final structure.
The biggest benefits of composite hose are its very long lifespan, end connections which are permanent and integrated into the hose, and its resistance to catastrophic failure. Composite hose will sweat or seep slowly which allows the hose to be replaced before there is a large safety hazard or incident. Once assembled to order, these hoses are tested and certified, documenting their safety.
While other hoses have good compatibility with oil and chemicals, none are as easy to handle and use. Composite hose has the flexibility to feel lighter weight and move with less force than rubber hose options.
