PTFE hose is a very versatile and durable alternative to rubber hose. Specific characteristics & high chemical/temperature tolerances make this a popular choice among engineers and facilities managers. At McGill Hose & Coupling, we will closely partner with your team to fabricate the best solution for your specific application needs.

PTFE Hoses are incredibly versatile; some with a temperature range exceeding 400 Degrees F and as low as -65 Degrees F. Furthermore, chemical resistance and non-stick attributes, make PTFE a very popular choice when needing an alternative to metal and rubber hoses.

Available in either Smooth Bore or Convoluted, both have specific attributes that allow PFTE Hose to meet a specific application.

Smooth bore hose is used in applications where high-flow rate is critical in the transfer of fluids, but in applications where maximum flexibility is required, its convoluted hose counterpart will allow the tight bends and routing necessary to make difficult connections.

Convoluted hose is used in applications where a greater range of flexibility is needed, and although it is more flexible, it has a strong hose wall that maintains its integrity when vacuum use capabilities are needed.

PTFE hoses also need specific fittings depending on their usage, so partnering with the correct hose fabricator is paramount to achieving the best possible solution to your needs.
